Abigail Spencer
Abigail Leigh Spencer, born 4 August 1981, is an American actress. Her most famous work is her roles in the films Cowboys & Aliens The Haunting in Connecticut 2 Ghosts of Georgia Oz the Great and the Powerful The Great and Powerful Is Where I Leave You as well as in the show on TV called Angel's Eyes Mad Men Hawthorne & Suits. Her current role is Amantha Holden on the Sundance Channel drama series Rectify. Abigail Leigh Spencer has worked in film and television. She gained fame for her performances on Rectify (a dramatic) as well as Timeless (a science fiction). Her home is in Gulf Breeze, Florida. She was first introduced to acting on the soap-opera All My Children. Her character in the soap show All My Children earned the actress an award by the soap Opera Digest as the Best Female newcomer. Her main role was character roles as a guest over the course of several years. In the series Hawthorne the actress was widely recognized for her role as Dr. Erin Jameson. Gradually, with her amazing looks and stunning acting talents, she was able to gain a massive audience. In the movie Campfire Stones, she played in the role in the film at age 20. Her other roles in are Jekyll This Means War and Chasing Mavericks. To honor her performance on Beautiful Now she received a Madrid International Film Festival Award nomination. The film starred her as Lucy Preston the history professor in Timeless. Spencer was praised from critics for her role in the sci-fi show Timeless. She received nominations for an award called the Teen Choice Award.
